Have you ever looked at your problems and felt outnumbered—like it’s you and a tiny bit of strength against a whole army of pressure, bills, or bad news? It’s hard to move forward when your chest is tight and the “what ifs” get loud.

Jonathan faced that kind of moment, and he didn’t pretend it was easy. In 1 Samuel 14:6 he says that nothing can stop the Lord from saving, “by many or by few.” His courage didn’t come from hype; it grew from time spent learning God’s heart. Psalm 46:1 reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, a present help in trouble.
